About Habitation Score Card :-
Monitoring the delivery of entitlements and benefits of various government schemes to the last beneficiary earlier considered a dream for any Government, has now turned into a reality.Using Information & Communications Technology, many Government Departments in Andhra Pradesh have done path breaking work in developing a reliable management information system to track the delivery of benefits.

This is an effort to integrate such diverse platforms by extracting certain key performance indicators.

Reports Bank Linkage

The SHG movement in the Andhra Pradesh started in 1998, built on the principles of thrift, self-help and internal lending. The credit worthiness of these groups, which are otherwise unbanked, having no collaterals, have been built on their group discipline, repayment culture and accumulated corpus funds; and this resulted in SHG Bank linkage programme, under which, SHGs are being provided with credit by service area banks as per Micro Credit Plans of SHGs.

The MGNREGA Act 2005 provides enhancement of livelihood security, giving atleast 100 days of guaranteed wage employment in every financial year to every household, whose adult members volunteer to do unskilled manual work.
Reports Sthreenidhi

The ‘Sthreenidhi' scheme, which is being implemented in rural areas will be extended to the urban-based Self Help Groups (SHGs) in 120 towns across the State and the decision will be taken in the next Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas (MEPMA) board meeting, Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy announced here on Tuesday.

Mr. Reddy said Rs.1,000 crore fund would be allocated for empowering the urban SHGs under the scheme and similarly ‘Mahila Samkhya Bhavans' will be constructed in these towns spending Rs.25 lakh each.

Overwhelmed by the huge crowd at the Rachabanda programme held at L. B. Nagar, the Chief Minister recalled the number of schemes launched in the State and particularly those benefitting Ranga Reddy district.

Reports Social Security Pensions

As part of its welfare programmes, the Government of Andhra Pradesh is implementing various Pension schemes for the most needy and vulnerable people i.e the persons in the old age, widows, people with disabilities and weavers to provide them succor. Realizing the need to universalize the pensions, the Government has decided to take up one-third of villages for, saturation each year in a period of three years under 'INDIRAMMA' programme starting form 2006-07.

The Department of Municipal Administration and Urban Development handles planning and development in urban and rural areas. The development is achieved through Master Plans prepared for urban centers and rural areas.

State Resident Data Hub (SRDH) is an Integrated Framework which provides unique centralized citizen database for citizens. It acts as a single source of truth for resident’s information. SRDH integrates all the departmental databases and links them with AADHAAR Number.
Reports Registration & Stamps Department

The "Registration & Stamps Department" is one of the oldest wings of the Government. The project of computerizing the services of the department was originally conceived in August 1996 and implemented at two test sites in August / September, 1997. Judging the project by its initial success and the immense potential it has in transforming the concept of public service, the Government decided to replicate it all over the state.Thus began an intensive and dedicated effort which is now the watchword of the Department.

The Civil Supplies Department was originally only a regulatory Department. Subsequently, its activities have been diversified to include procurement of food grains under Minimum Support Price (MSP) , distribution of essential commodities viz. Rice, Wheat, Sugar, Kerosene, Palmolien Oil and Red gram dal through Fair Price Shops under the Public Distribution System at subsidized rates through issue of computerized cards, consumer affairs, monitoring of prices of essential commodities, distribution of LPG connections to BPL women (Deepam Scheme), Enrollment under UID (Aadhaar) etc.

In the Revenue Department, Commissioner of Revenue assisted the Board of Revenue in its functioning. Secretary, Board’s Land revenue and irrigation Branch, in turn assisted the Commissioner. At the District Level District Collectors, District Revenue Officers performed the revenue and administrative functions. Revenue Divisional Officers and Sub Collectors at the Sub-Divisional Level, Tahsildars and Deputy Tahsildars at the Tahsil Level, Revenue Inspectors and Girdwars at the Firka/ Circle Level, and Village Officers and Village Servants at the Village Level assisted the Collector.

Multy village schemes are being planned, designed and constructed for cluster of scarcity/quality affected habitations duly transporting surface water from sustainable sources like major irrigation reservoirs/rivers/canals for providing treated safe drinking water to the villages of project area. After completion of the schemes, the assets will be handed over to concerned Zilla Parishads for Operation & Maintenance.

Appropriate system like handpump/extension from village scheme with service reservoir facility/cistern with battery of taps is designed and constructed based on the strength of students. After completion of the system, the asset will be handed over to School/Anganwadi authorities for regular maintenance.

The Department of Rural Development implemented watersheds through different programmes viz. Integrated Wastelands Development Programmes, Drought Prone Areas Programme and Desert Development programme.Based on the recommendations of Technical Committee under the Chairmanship of Prof. C.H. Hanumantha Rao, Department of Land resources, Government of India launched new integrated program on watershed development called Integrated Watershed Management Programme (IWMP) in 2008.

'Indira Jala Prabha' is the flagship programme of Govt. of Andhra Pradesh with NABARD and MGNREGS with a view to consolidate the gains made in the Land Development Project of the later programme and to ensure sustainable and comprehensive development of the land securing livelihoods. The project aims at providing assured source of irrigation to the 10 lakh acres of fallow and uncultivable land belonging to the 6 lakh SC/ST farmers of the state. Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) is Government of India's flagship programme for achievement of Universalization of Elementary Education (UEE) in a time bound manner, as mandated by 86th amendment to the Constitution of India making free and compulsory Education to the Children of 6-14 years age group, a Fundamental Right. SSA is being implemented in partnership with State Governments to cover the entire country and address the needs of 192 million children in 1.1 million habitations.
